Hospital X and Hospital Y are part of the Z Hospitals Group, the biggest hospital group in Indonesia with a positive community brand. Stakeholders in these hospitals stated that they did not have a mentoring program for nurses. Mentoring projects can increase self-efficacy and nurse professional values. This project aimed to develop, implement, and evaluate an intervention mentoring program for Hospital X and Hospital Y nurses. The short-term objective was to improve the nurses' self-efficacy and professional values through a mentoring program. The project design was a quantitative interventional study with a one-group pre-test and post-test. The formal mentoring program was developed with one-to-one mentoring in a six-month program. The mentoring program included mentor recruitment, selection, training for mentors, and recognition and rewards. The instrument used in this project was the Nursing Profession Self-Efficacy Scale (NPSES) and the Nurse Professional Values Scale-Three (NPVS-3). A sample of 25 licensed nurses from each hospital was included in the project, for a total of 50 nurses. The type of sampling was purposive sampling. Data were analyzed with a paired sample t-Test and a Wilcoxon. The paired sample t-Test and Wilcoxon test results revealed a significance value of p <0.001, with a significance level of p=0.05. The results showed a significant difference between the mean value of the nurses' self-efficacy and professional values before and after the mentoring project. The recommendation given to hospital management was to make the mentoring project a sustainable project.
